I'd say screw it an sell the D35 and get yourself a Toyota Mini axle...already setup for 6 lug and is the perfect width. Leafs would be the easiest route to go..link=$$$$ lots of engineering goes into building and designing a link system that works well. alternately you could get ahold of a D44 out of a Wagoneer...or a Land Cruiser axle from a FJ60/62 or late FJ40

you can run the rims and tires that you got on your luv now and you get more options i got a set of 8lugs a bit wider but it will be fun to play with if i get to that point lol

cuz that's what it has...and most 4x4's are 6lugs = lots of rim choices

you do realize that putting a dana 35 in place of the IFs is impossible...well i shouldn;t say impossible, but there's no good reason on earth why you would put an axle from the rear of a jeep that is ONLY made for the rear :P do you mean dana 30? if so... look for a dana 44 out of an early wagoneer.... in fact look for a PAIR of dana 44s from a wagoneer, front and rear and you then won't have to worry about lug pattern or strength. 8)

Leafs = Simple, Reliable

Link = Complicated, Flexy
