Was at the track again this weekend for Points race #7 & #8. Yesterday was a very hot and muggy day. The truck was of its game running anywhere from 10.04-10.19 having problems with the Shiftnoid, so I ended up shifting by hand. My lights where very shitty except for 2 runs, .037 & .030. Besides having a bad cold and feeling like shit!! I got my very first WIN!!!! :D It sure makes a guy feel better in a hurry.

We got to the winner's circle again this past saturday!! I actually lost first round and had to buy back in. I was also in the King of the Track race on saturday against the guy in #1 in points (I was in #3). I have raced Kurt (he is a tough racer to beat and has been a past points champion) before and have never beat him. In the first round of the King of the Track the truck picked up and I broke out. After the lunch break we started first round. I usually get up at the front of the line. Kurt is usually towards the middle or back of the pack. That day he pulled up right behind me. And with my luck I got paired up with him. That run the truck slowed down a bit and I lost to him for a second time in one day. That really pissed me off!! So I bought back in (which I normally don't do very often) and I won that round. Has the day went on I ended up in the final against who else but Kurt. He got lane choice and picked his favorite left lane. He had a .020 light to my .028. He ran a 10.401 on a 10.37 dial, I ran a 9.934 on a 9.92 dial. The MOV was .0098. I finally kicked his butt and couldn't have happened at a better time. My dad was on the starting line and when my win light came on he said everybody, even the track workers went wild!! Kurt is not a good loser and not too well liked at the track. Everybody wants to see him get beat. So that made my day to beat him in a final!!
