Well, my daily driver finally died today, so I am in the market for a new vehicle. I figured I'd see if anyone had any suggestions. I'm thinking about a newer dodge ram or chevy silverado. Maybe an s10 or s10 blazer. I tried to find a nice 5th gen el camino (don't even ask about 1st 2nd or 3rd) that wasn't to expensive, but everyone around here wants an arm and a leg for them...

What do you all think?

Auto trannies are crap in the slowpars and they don't get the mileage of the chebbies. The elcos are cool, but they can be pricey for sure...

My son has that 07 Cobalt SS with the supercharger. It hauls ass. I would guess that the non supercharged ones run pretty well also.

Yeah, I've seen a couple of those cobalts at work, not bad little cars.

I think I'd prefer either a truck or an older muscle car though. I wish I could find a 69-72 nova around here that wasn't either a rust bucket or $5,000+ :?

I did find a nice 1970 Challenger, but I don't think I could quite meet their $147,944 asking price...
