I wish to fit a larger amp alt but unsure what to do about vaccum pump bolted to rear of original alt. :?

Do you have a good starter/alt. rebuilder you can go to? They should be able to rebuild yours and up grade the the fields to get more amps.

Best be would be an alternator off a different diesel.


Patrol or landcruiser or similar large 4x4.

You will have to fab up some brackets for it.
