I can't seem to find lowering leafs for my 77 2wd luv

Does anyone know where I can find them or what other trucks will work?

I also want to upgrade my brake and I read a trooper brake will fit
But has any one found a twin piston brake that works?

Not sure what lowering leaf springs are. To lower the rear you need lowering blocks and/or removing some of the springs in the leaf pack.

They will have to be custom made for the LUV.

I had to replace my springs with something beefier to carry extra weight of the batteries in my electric conversion.
The guys at Alcan Springs in Colorado were super to work with and the custom springs are perfect.
The trucks rides level and I don't bottom out over speed bumps.
Only a few shekels more than a lesser quality, generic, maybe-worky solution.

Highly recommended!

Even if you get custom leaf springs made, they can only "lower" your ride height so much. It takes away from the arc. Usually an 1-1 1/2"
