I'd say based on the specs in your other post:
1. Rear end gear will be 4.10 posi
2. 355 2 bolt
3. 9.7 to 1 2256 trw flattop 64cc chambers
4. 062 vortecs with mods for lift guide plates screw ins.
5. stall will be approx 2600-2800 always hard to be exact. Fresh/built th-350
6. The truck will weigh in at approx 2900?
7. Cam im looking at is 215/220 @.050
8. this will see some around town street use and will be driven to the race track on fridays and sundays.
9. I have all the parts to spray up to 200 hp. probably only put 150 on it.
10. high rise dual plane. This motor is mostly parts I had laying around It will have a 750 demon 1 7/8 hooker block huggers. I just bought a new house and cannot afford to finish the big motor right now, but this motor is within reach and will due for this season. I really need to get a motor in it and running. If it's running and im spending money on it thats ok, if it sits there dead with boxes of new parts stacked on it the wife says im spending money on junk.
JMO, the first cam would be your best bet but you would benefit from a llittle more compression (10.5?) to run that cam as well. Your vortec head should have at least a 170-180cc or bigger intake port to support that cam and make it work more to its potential. have you considered a mechanical roller?
