What is the best way to lift the rear end?
I have seen longer shackles or adding leaves
I am only looking for the 2" or so the front will be lifted by with the reindexed tbars bars and flipped bjs

Not sure about the best,but slightly longer shackles are just about the easiest. A chunk of steel from Home Depot, a drill and a sawzall is all you need.

Yeah i was thinkin about that I live real close to a steel yard I could get a good 3/8 plate from the remnants bin for a few bucks.
I think the front goes up 2 or 2.5" with the reindex and trooper upper arms so that is all I need in the back.
I have seen a few styles. Stock is just straight bars. I was looking at some that were more boxed and some that had pipe welded thru for strength.

Also I was reading a long dead thread that mentioned using full size chevy rear shocks if you lift it. And stock fronts are said to be fine..

Anyone know what year range fullsize would be right?

It's not the cheapest solution but I installed some Air Lift helper bags to raise the rear. As a bonus, they come in handy when I haul a heavy load.

I would be tempted to look at getting spring packs from other rigs that would lift the rear a bit. Maybe look at Toyota Hilux springs or TrooperII springs
