Hey all, I just got a 1980 luv 4x, and my dad said that I cant drive it down by the river until I get a roll bar. does anyone here know if one will fit a luv off of another truck? If so, what truck? Any help would be appriciated. Thanks, Nick.

my buddy has a chrome one here on his 4x4. it has KC lights and a small dent in the center but all in all it is nice

we are located in Nampa idaho.. near boise

I'm having a hard time understanding why you need to have one. All it is a piece of metal that attached to the bed or the truck, it's not going to do anything for ya if you roll over. Maybe your thinking of a headache bar, those are tied into the frame and would provide some protection in the event of a roll over.

Ok seriously, you dont need a roll bar. I have rolled a LUV all the way over on the highway (came off a trailer) at about 45mph. You could still sit stright up in the cab and the doors still opened and closed. These trucks are vary stout where it counts. But if you realy want one, i bet a roll bar for an early Toyota (pre 85) could be made to work. Just take and measure out the bed width and where the wheel wells are in comparison to the front wall of the bed and compare your measurments to those of various roll bars or other pickups.

i rolled my luv like 7 times and the cab was in good shape and that was before the roll bar
