Wanted to buy. 1979 or 1980 LUV 4x4 in good shape. I had a 79 4x4 for my first rig in 1985 and loved it so I'm looking for another one.
I am located in Montana.

How much you wanting to pay. My son might sellhis for the right price. No rust Ca truck. New tires and motor. Ijust repainted it with clear coat base coat. Not perfect but looks good. Needs interior work some. Great running little truck. I am in Missouri

cmts, you might want to have a good look at luvmikado's truck. With LUV's getting harder to find, a good portion of them have been fooled around with far too much. From looking at luvmikado's photos his is in great shape and it is a daily driver.

The bed on mine is rough, but I might be able to get a good bed to go with it. I plan on checking on it this weekend. Might even get it for free.

My son would probably sell his for 3,000 he said. No rust, new tires motor. All glass good and I just painted it. Has weber carb. Needs headliner, carpet and seat recovered and dash cap. Everything works fine. Great running little truck.
If he doesn't sell it we are swapping in a 5 speed and 2.6 Isuzu hopefully.

Hi.

I posted my luv for sale here quite some time ago... it's still available in Santa Clara, CA.

It needs a new engine, which I would happily install if you have one or want to pay for it.

It's a California truck, excellent body, just bought new catalytic converters, but as I said, the engine is toast.
