Has anyone every had there Torsion bars break on them by tighting them up to get a lite bit of lift

I have never seen that happen. Torsion bars are made from a real strong metal, I would highly doubt that would hapen.

How much Lift will can I get by tighting it up?

max is 3in, but what I am reading, it's better to go only 2.5in, for better handeling, etc.
