What is the gear ratio in a stock 1.8 1980 4x4 luv???? what about re gearing to give the truck a little more nuts w/o a motor swap??? it dont like the 30"s on it really haha any help would be grand!! NaSTy

Stock LUV diff gears are 4.10 in 4x4 models. Your options are pretty limited though, as I think 4.10 and 4.56 are the only thing you are going to find for the front diff. You can find 4.56 gears in Isuzu Troopers up 1986 for sure, and some 1987s had the same front axle as the LUV. I have not done the swap myself but I think the third members should swap across, but if not the gear sets would.

What else can i do to make my 4x4 luv have a little more hp or torq??? i can not do a motor swap but i really just want to fling more mud and acually go when its time on the road........any help would be great!! NasTY

I got a weber but that s it....where and what ?? getting the cams and headers and also what all will those 2 give me?? thanks nasty
