I'm interested to purchase an 80s 4x4 Luv from a coworker that drives his to work occasionally. It has a 4 cyl original motor, with 60,789 original miles. I has a 3 in lift. It has minimal rust and a straight body. Runs great except the only problem is a radiator leak. He got a new Chevy truck and wants me to have this one since I like it so much. He'd sell it to me for $700. Are radiators for these going to be worth the purchase any ways and is the rust problem these usually have going to be a long term or short term problem for me? My main question is should I rush down this opportunity and purchase it?

If it's as good as shape as you say it it, go for it. You won't regreat it, even if you do have to spend a little money on it.

That sounds like a hell of a deal. Where are you at? If you don't want it I am sure that there is someone here who would.

replacing the radiator will cost you like 150 bucks so even with that you're scoring a great 4x4 truck for less than a grand.. i'd get it if it was my choice

Too far away for me. But I'm sure someone out there might want it.
