Hey,
My name is Beth and Im in Austin,Texas. I just bought a 1980 LUV from a kid who put an air suspension on the back half of the truck. I really dont know much about fixing up trucks so I hope you guys can tolerate my stupid questions and hopefully give me some great advice. Ill post some pics of the truck once I get back home. Nice tyo meet you alll in advance

welcome, it depends on what you consider "around austin" there are quite a few members in texas but thats a pretty big area so around could mean 1000 miles :lol:

I wouldn't go that far, kinda looks like a hack job in the back to me. Regardless its still a nice starter/project truck.

I agree..the C Notches are upside down..were gonna redo the back half of the frame I think..poor thing has been passed through a few hands

Im new, but I hope with help from friends, the ability to read (thank you public school system), and a high learning curve we can make it a beauty.

First thing to do is the basics: oil change, spark plugs, etc.
I have no clue when all of those small things were last done! :?
