It's been a good couple of weeks. I got the headlights in and working. Whoever put the squares in did a pretty good job. I don't know why they wanted them in the first place, but the mountings and all electrical were nicely done and not a hack job at all.
I cleaned up the connector at the ignition switch, and filed up the fuse block. This was this cause of all electrical problems it had.
I put in a older LUV rear view mirror with matching clip in visors. I cut out the torn part of the head liner. I'm not sure what I want to do here yet.
I put in some 72 gray door panels. BTW Those "Help" GM window cranks at the Kragen / Pep Boys style auto part stores fit the regulator shaft perfectly.
I got the tires from my friend and another friend mounted them on my ugly black wheels for me. I did buy new lug nuts but couldn't find center caps. The tires are brand new and I got them for $375! 235- 7- 15.
I guess because of the body lift they had to open up the holes in the floor. so my friend gave me these two boots that have been on his shelf for 20 years. Boy am I glad he never throws away any old parts from his Chevelle.

I got the seats out of a '99 Cavalier. I still need to clean them up, and will need to a little fab work to lower them down a little and bolt them in.
I'm going to Line X type stuff the floor board and bottom of the doors to fill the speaker holes and finish the doors off.

Runs real good but I need a carb. and plan to put a Weber on there. I'll just change it out to smog it every other year. I got a better grill and buzz bombed it gloss black today. It's drying now. I got the ash tray mounted correctly and the light and lighter both work.
Now if all yawl could just send me money.... OK, I'll stop.
I do like my 4X4. I think this one will be my favorite.
