Just got registered finally! I've been trying for quite some time, but for whatever reason it always said "spam" and wouldn't let me create an account. Decided to try a different email address and it went through! Are gmail accounts not allowed? Not sure what else it would be...
Anywho, my wife and I recently acquired a light blue 73 Luv that belonged to her great grandmother before she passed. It has sat on her parents farm for years, and they recently decided that since we were in need of a pickup (to do those things a car simply can't), it was ours! Hooray!
It's got a few issues (some critical), but overall it's in pretty good condition for being 36 years old! But, those can wait for the other parts of the forum... (already have many things to try from reading all the posts).
A little background - I'm an electrical engineer and my wife works at the elementary school with special ed. We're both in our late 20's and we're in North Dakota. Look forward to talking with those on the site already. Gotta say, it's an awfully friendly group here...nice change from some other auto forums I've been a part of!
Just wanted to say "Hi" and "Thanks" already to those who have made this a wealth of info for us newbie Luv owners.
Did I mention it's only got about 60k miles and it's got a full camper topper? How cool is that?
