Can't afford to work on any cars since I've been building a shop. Hopefully I'm about done.

32x32. 12 feet high. I've even got a bathroom in here complete with a shower.

Add a fridge and a microwave and you won't need to go up to the house anymore. 8)

I've actually been shopping for an old fridge. I've also got an old bottle Coke machine out there.

Nice! Wish I had space for something like that.

I have a 1500 sq ft garage/workshop but it's not tall enough for a lift. Sure wish it was

Finally wrapping up construction. I live in an HOA area so it had to look like my house. I bit more speedy but it looks nice.

Man that is a good looking shop! That thing will definitely be around a while, probably won't be too bad in summer either

It gets really hot here in the summer. The doors face the west though so it's ok for most of the day. I'll eventually insulate it and A/C it but that's a couple years down the road for sure.

I still need to paint the cornice. I've got a temp line run for electricity now but the guy is supposed to bury the main line and set my meter base next week. I decided to have dedicated service so my welder doesn't mess with the stuff in the house.

Next spring I'll extend my driveway to it and put in a cantilever style gate. The idea is to park my pickup out there since it won't fit in my garage.

I'm just glad this is almost over. My project car hasn't had anything done to it at all this year. Looking forward to starting back on it in the spring.

Congrats on wraping up the shop project, Drummer. That's a big deal. What are your plans for the car?

Thanks. It was originally an inline-6 car. I've replaced all of the front suspension and put a narrowed posi 8.8 rear with discs and 3.73s in it. I've got a 302 sitting on the stand that's ready to go back together and a 4R70W transmission with an AOD tailshaft that I need to look at. It'll be an EFI motor with a mild cam. Like a 264 if I remember correctly.

It also needs new rear leafs and some mild body work. It'll eventually be my weekend ride.

Got the gate frame together too. Decided to go with black pipe because welding galvanized pipe sucks. Setting the posts this weekend and hopefully hanging it next weekend.

Getting the driveway poured today. Rented a skid steer to get the grading done. My wife is an odd woman. She's wearing a dress and heels.
