I just verified this:
Heard on the radio Sunday, and verified in the paper now, some dad went to Texas to pick up his 12 year old daughter. On the way back to Covington, La., he and his daughter (yes she agreed to participate) decided to pull a practical joke on people by duct taping her upper torso and mouth to look like a kidnapping! 911 was getting phone calls like crazy about a 'kidnapping' and only found out after pulling them over, having the dad get out of the truck at gun point and then pulling the daughter out it was a joke. Well, the dad is now in jail for two or three different charges and the daughter is with an uncle until both go to trial.
What really goes through peoples mind when thinking of stupid stuff like this????? Maybe they really do have the same father?

my brother and sister did this once years ago, but when the police pulled my mom over, they didnt get arrested or separated.

goes to show how different our society is from just 15 years ago...
