I only met this guy 2 months ago, but my buddy knew him for 20 years. He did wrong, took short cuts, but it is still very sad.
My buddy was very shaken up this weekend and decided not to race today. all racing was canceled yesterday.
Ronnie's 9? year old daughter was not there when it happened (thank god) but showed up later and is racing her jr dragster today in honor of her dad.
Needless to say, this weekend at the races sucked.

That is way too sad. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. That is pretty cool that his daughter is racing in his honor. When I warm my truck up I drive it around and I go down the return road. Head out onto the shut down area of the track. That is where I do my transbrake test. So if somethings like that happens I have some room to shut it down. But if not I will go off into the sand.
