Got out to the track this weekend for the 1st 2 points race of the year. Yesterday we had a real bad tail/side wind that kept pushing the track to the right on the launch. Which is not normal because the truck always leaves straight. One of the time trials I made the quickest pass @ 9.749. Then today on a time trial pass it ran an even quicker 9.734. Got to second round today until the driver had a brain fart!!!! Dialed the truck at a 9.80, but the idiot driver went .062 red. The truck ran 9.800!!!! Will be back next weekend to try it again.

The story goes that my dad bought the Luv in 1993. Had the engine rebuilt because it was bad. Then he and my step-mom move to Arizona and take the Luv down there. After the Luv being there for 3 or 4 years my step-mom wants the truck out of the carport and my dad was thinking about getting rid of it anyways. He said he checked into donating it to someplace down there and wouldn't get much for taxes. I have always told him if he wanted to sell it that I wanted first chance at it. So he called my in Sept. one year and said that if I could find a way to get it back to Iowa I could do whatever I wanted to do to it. I said "I'll be down asap!!!" :D A guy I work with had just gotten a new Chevy pickup a little over a month before that. So after harvest we went down and brought it back home. And I have been in Luv ever since!!!! :D 8) :lol:

Ah it takes practice, you will see it comes with time. Your times are solid though, makes me nervous! gonna have to crank up the boost to keep up!

I have been hitting my practice tree every night!! There are some days, usually later into the season, I have good days in cutting lights. :D
