I took mine away from my son today and cruised it to get an oil filter for my Ford. I guess I should have stopped and bought it a card.

Yeah or an air freshner, or a good cleaning. Me i looked through one, started one and sanded the hood on another. Then i stood there and and told it all the things i was going to do to it. If it would just hold still long enough lol j/k

I actually went out to the garage and looked at my 74, I am having thoughts of selling it.

Sadly, I did and thought the same thing about my '79. It needs alot of work and even though I'm capable of doing it all I have alot of other projects plus I wonder if I should spend the $$$'s. I have one kid in college and another will be soon. I guess I'll have to see how the new job works out....I probably can't get a decent price for it anyway.

I bought a 1940 Fairchild PT-19 yesterday (airplane) and need the space to restore it, it's not a money thing just room. Unless I find a hanger at a fair price the 74 may have to go, but at least I will have the 76.

I would have to agree with what Rondog said!! Hope you can find a place to keep it. If you want to bring it to Iowa, I will store it for you. All it would cost for storage is that I would have to take it out for a drive once in a while!! :D

I guess I can't really say it's a money thing. I know I can afford to do it especially since I'm not going to try and make it NEW again, just relaible and decent enough to take my bird dogs out and about in. The kids are moving out, to many projects...maybe this is what they call the mid life crisis. :econfused
