8 inches of snow today! lol, I didn't even have to leave my house to see any idiots. I live at the bottom of a pretty steep hill, and I'm at the end of the road. This guy from Golden State Overnight in a 2X4 Ranger got stuck at my house... Needless to say, he was a little upset when I jumped in the LUV and ran up the driveway to borrow my neighbor's tractor.

Classes were cancelled for the day, so I shoveled my entire street, just incase somebody else wanted to visit.

Tomorrow morning's gonna be icy, warmed up, melted some of the snow, and dropped to 20F.

Have you tried putting up an awning to work under PapaG?

Still raining here, but the temp has gone up to 62 degrees. Still funny watching those HOT WHEELS car skidding all over the place. Bet it was even more fun while the ground was covered in snow and mush! Just need to slow down a bit for the weather.

Chevyluv1980....62 degrees!!! We are at -8 and suppose to bottom out at -17 tonight. All this after -22 last night. Makes me think about moving back down south. This is a little early for us. This Mid January weather.

lol, cajun food doesn't exactly agree with me...

There's still a good covering of snow on the ground, and it hasn't gotten to 40 yet... lol, I went down to my favourite intersection this morning and watched the fools try to drive. Odd, we live where it snows, and yet nobody knows how to drive in it. Low of 22, high of 35.

dogtrainer, does your breath freeze and fall to the ground, or do you stay outside long enough to figure that out? I like the cold and the snow, but only to a certain point.

How'd things go today PapaG?

As of 1020 am it is sunny and 71 degrees! Het dog trainer, want to trade homes? You move down here and I will move up there. I prefer the colder climate! Almost three acres of land and a really huge house. (Really huge. :( )

Sunny here today but more rain is supposed to show up tomorrow. I hate rain, for the money I spend on my property tax it should be sunny and 78 here all year every day.

We got up to 7 today. Forcasted for -2 tonight and then back up to double digits tomorrow. Chevyluv1980, I've been in MT for almost 24 years and I don't really mind the cold all that much until it screws up my outdoor activities (bird hunting mainly like it did this past weekend). Sounds like you have a nice place there, I miss living out of town on the few acres we had but it's alot easier to commute to work where I live now. Especially in the snow.

Ret1614 LOL, my breath doesn't freeze but it does feel like you're freezing the lungs when you take in that first deep breath when you go outside. I went duck hunting out in the boat at -8 one time...that's all it took, ONE TIME.

Lucky you guys, we have been in negative double digits for the last to days and not suppose to get above freezing till Saturday. Lovely, but what can you do?? And chevyluv1980, are you SURE you want to switch??? The guy I work with from Louisiana has been crying like a little girl for 3 weeks on how cold it is here. He didnt make to work today because he has never put antifreeze in his cars and they were frozen solid this morning (-24 below). I laughed.

How about some good Boudan... It is hard to find. Just like finding good Chorizo.
No MENUDO here please, don't like it.

I'm waiting for a friend of mine from my home town, Houma, to get back to me. He is trying to get some Boudan for me right now. The Boudan he gets is just friggin' incredible. Right now with Christmas comming up, his supplier is swamped. May have to wait until after New Years. I can see if he can get a bit more and send it westward!
