well im gonna say that this wasnt the best christmas, but it wasnt the worst. i ended up getting some clothes, some fuses for the pup, and the grand finale... a 1967 327. well its already 30 over so its a 333, but its still good. im gonna go pick it up tommorow maybe. its still a runner if it had new intake gaskets an a carb. just smokes i as told. its got an edelbrock performer on it too, so thats a plus!

so now all i need is somethin to put it in. im lookin for either a early vega, or an early luv.

I visited a good buddy of mine on the way home to Copperas Cove. His wife lost her job awhile back and it took some time for her to find meaningful enployment. During that time their bills got out of hand and Christmas wasn't going to be a good one for them this year...
Enter Me... The 4 kids got 50 bucks each from "Blue Meanie Clause", My bro and his wife got 100 buck gift cards, I filled their deep freezer with 110 bucks worth of steaks, chops and all other kinds of meat from the local butcher. And i maxed out the ATM machine that day to the tune of 400.00 so they could do some Christmas shopping.
So what i got for Christmas was a good feeling knowing i did some good in a not so perfect world.

Now that is what Christmas is about, giving. Thanks Blue Meanie for showing how it is really done. I hope things are better in the new year for your buddy's family, sounds like you gave them a lot of good cheer to kick it off.

That is very respectable of you, Blue. It's good to know that there are still some nice people out there.

I too ended up going into the black to put smiles on the faces of others... Engine stands, car parts, gift cards, mp3 players, speakers, software, pocketbooks, dinners, tools and the like... Some people I knew.... some I did not....

For myself, I ended up with some tools, a small service cart, a short roll-a-way toolbox and a cordless impact gun...

Not too bad. For what I got, I am grateful, but I would've felt better without them....
