Does anybody here have any experience with the Raptor?
I'm looking to get a 2004 or 2005 - 350 or 660 Raptor. The reason is I want the white plastic with red frame to match my Ford pick up. ( I know weird priorities). I know the 350 is air cooled and the 660 is liquid, but I'm worried the 350 won't be enough power and the 660 will send me to the laundry mat every time I ride it.

I'm looking for input.

Yeah i would definently go with the 660. My friend has a Warrior, just about the same thing as the Raptor 350, which has a 350cc in it and they are slower than balls. With the 660 you will get used to riding and wanna go faster and faster. The 350 probably wont cut it. If you were going to buy a new quad i would go with the 450 though. Or go with a Banshee, which is what I got.

buy an 06 I think they are now 700's

Don't waste your time with the 350

I have an '01 660R with a 686 kit, upgraded billet shaft trans (01 had trans problems). gutted pipe (smashed up my good pipe), dual K&N pods, Hot Cam and rejetted carb. thing hauls azz, tears up the stocker 450R's just fine. its a little on the heavy side and CG is a little too high so I may put a lowering kit on mine along with Blue axles and long swing arm.

Consider the 450 though... its a little more geared toward race than the Raptor 660. (adjustable shocks, lower CG, lighter, etc.)
