My wife is a teacher and she brought home the next five years plan for cutting the budget at her school. First thing I notice is they cut all of her extra activities, translation...FUCK, worth about $5k. Not a huge deal, we will make it up some how. What really got me was the staff cuts. Im thinking, do I really want my kids going to this shcool? Being taught by ,now, over worked and under payed teachers? Just think of the generations of morons that will come out of this because the teachers are going to be too stressed out and pissed off to care anymore. Its just damn sad. And its happening all over this country.

I totally agree with you. teachers don't get raises for like 3-5 years....I mean what the hell! my g/f is a teacher and it doesn't pay. you have to love it I guess....

My wife gets paid alright and she really does love teaching. But the bullshit is starting to over run her love for it I think.

oh the g/f gets paid well....after 11 years of teaching, but I was meaning to say that 1/2 or more of the class won't listen and its like teaching monkeys....
the crap is definitely getting out of hand.
I say bring the perverbial ASS WHOOPIN back to schools!!!!!! kids need dicipline! too many kids now-a-days aren't getting it.

bighappy are you from alabama? Sounds like the same thing we have going on here. These ppl voted down the lottery, an EDUCATION LOTTERY!! It's like these ppl here are proud of their ignorance. Hell no we don't want a lottery, our kids might learn something if the school system was worth a damn.

No, Im from Illinios. Its happening everywhere. I have a sister-in-law in Arizona who works in a school and she said its just as bad there.
