I might buy a 2wd Chevy 1500 siverado truck 1983/85 with a perfect body w/ recent paint, but peeling in areas, front and rear bumper percect, new rear shocks, Origional inline 6passebger side flooer has one small rust spot (suface rust anyhow), and two small chips with surface rust behind front bumper. Interior is almost perfect except small crack on dash. This guy is the origional owner and kept EVERY service record from 1983-till now.....oh and no A/C it has 163,000 miles

he is asking $2500, but blue book (high) is $1400, what should I offer him? I was thinking 1500 cash

If you really want it I wouldn't pay more than high blue book. Show him the book or print out. He might go for that.
