Anyone know about some common problems with this truck, we used to own this truck and sold it to my uncle cause' my dad got laid off from work and didn't have a job (he has one now at south eastern frieght lines) but now i'm thinking of buying it back from him, only thing i know about hte truck is that it's a pain to get it to stop soon, you got to STOMP on the brakes, he said to make an offer on it so i'm thinking about 11k for it (it was worth about 13k when we sold it) i want to give him payments on it to and that should be around 200-275 a month for it and it'll be paid off in 5 months***. Should I get it? It'd be a nice addition to my diesel collection.

*** screwed up my math it'd be bout 3 years and it'd be paid off...

I dont know if I would do it with the way gas prices are, espeacially for diesel fuel, but you are a guy who seems like you enjoy diesels so it'll probably work good for you.

Diesel is still cheaper than gas.... and diesel motors still get you almost twice as much mileage over gas. I'd buy it back as long as your uncle took care of it. I am eyeballing a 2500HD DMAX Chevy crew cab right now.
