Asking as today as of course, my bad luck reigns supreme. Was changing the fuel pressure regulator on my 2000 Silverado with a 5.3 Vortec. Pulled out the old regulator and the 0-ring didn't come out of the rail hole. I grab a pick and of course it falls off the pick and inside of the fuel rail. We fish for an hour trying to get it out but no luck, even tried using a shop vac. So my question is, do I have to get it out of there? Will it plug an injector or is it ok to be floating around in there, I know what the best answer but not if leaving it in there might be OK? Anybody have any insight on this? I cant wait to walk to work tomorrow.
Thanks.
