I just got a pair of SBC heads my girlfriends dad gave them to me he said they have been sitting under his work bench for 7 years I cant find a casting number on them at all. They are guide plated have 2.05 intakes and the valve springs are giant. They have the accessory holes and the only marking I can make out is GM 32 right in the center under the valve cover. I dont know what they are but I would like to find out since there isnt a casting number I dont know how to identify them.

Oops that was a typo the numbers that I am looking at are 487. They are under the intake runner looks like the remainder of the number was milled off. Im guessing the rest of the number was 3978487. Pulled out 4 or five bent valves last night.

Dropped them off at the machine shop tonight I was lied to. The valves are 2.02/1.60s and someone did a crap job of drilling some steam holes for a 400.
