Almost a year ago... I picked up a 77 cadillac seville.... but not just any seville... One of four 1977 sevilles that were shortened and made into a convertible.. *about 250 1976's were made but only 4 77's to my knowledge...* Here's the real kick in the pants.. The guy knew what it was worth.. but STILL sold it to me for $1... yes thats right.. One measly dollar.... Granted it needs alot of work.. but with 45,000 original miles and you can get right in it and start it up and drive away... who would've passed it up.. I've gotten offers for it... in the really crappy condition it is in.. for $50,000.... Needless to say.. I'm happy...

Joe,

I sent the pics just a few minutes ago.... Thanks much for the image hosting...

To all those who see the pics.. dont hesitate to ask questions... I will try to get more pics up in the next two days (depending on the weather)... I did have more pics with the top off, the tonnou cover on and from a much higher camera pov... But i think they are on the hard drive that crashed recently :( Oh well.. I'll just take some more...

Thanks all for being patient....

A little story...

It was 1980, and my dads company car was a 74 Lincoln mark V (I think). This was his third co. car and all had been used. Any way it was having a lot of trouble and my dad really liked those 76/77 Sevilles. He told himself "today I'm asking the boss for a Seville".

About then the boss walked in and said "I noticed the repair bills on the Lincoln are piling up, You don't have any clients for lunch so why don't you go down to Coast Cadillac and pick out a new one." So after my dad got up off the floor he went to the dealer. He was like a kid in a candy store. He got a brand new 1980 maroon Coupe Deville with all the bells and wistles. Boy was he proud.

Don't mean to hi jack, just that I also always liked those Sevilles and wanted to throw that in there.

I'm thinking of the ones that had an extra long hood were two door and had the spare on the outside of the trunk. Is that what you have?

For 50g's I don't I'd bother with the work and trouble. I'd take the $ and run. :)

Like i said.. it needs lots of work.... What you see in the interior pics is what was left after i removed everything... The seats look a lil akward because i had to remove them from the tracks so i could rebuild the motors....

I'm about halfway complete with recovering the extra pictures... and i'll send them to Neil as soon as possible...

Oh Yea! :o I remember those. The one I was thinking of was the same car but stretched to look like a 1920's touring car. With the long hood and a leather strap over the hood and the spare on each side behind the steering tires.

Well, you do have a lot of work to do. I myself would take 50g's and run, But I am not into that major of a restoration job.

Good luck to ya.
