Anyone know the name of the strange shifter setup used in the late 70's early 80's trans ams(i think) that had the three shifter sticks.... What exactly was the name of it, was it in a special edition or anything, and what trans was it used on???

Anyone got ANY information???

Thanks much,

it wasnt a pontiac thing. it was a hurst/olds thing. they called em LIGHTNING RODS. they came on hurst/olds cars. they were a special edition thing that oldsmobile did with hurst. if you wanna buy one you gonna pay out the ass, because they are so rare. heres a pic

Yeah, every once in a while they come up on ebay and end up selling for some pretty good $$. Those are another thing I keep a lookout for when I go to the wrecking yards...
