Lets see. You get all the bolts and hardware, even a few fancy allen wrenches :) . The hubs, the rotors, bearings, calipers, Brake pads, mounting bracket, and i think thats it but could be forgetting something. They talked me into buying those steel braided brake line for like an extra 80 bucks :? but i just thought they would be a little more safe than 30 year old ones that were on there.

My S-10 spindle/roter/caliper project is a disaster. I have spent way to much time tryig t make this damn thing work. I am ready to spend $600 on this Aerospace setup I think. Problem is I might have damaged some of the stock parts I need to make the Aerospace stuff fit.

In your post you mention mounting brackets. These are what? You used your stock Luv ball joint mounts?

The mounting plate that your stock calipers connect too is trash after you get the kit. They give a new mounting bracket that allows the bigger rotors and the new calipers.

I also believe that the areospace kit sound like a good deal . I did the Toyota rotor conversion with great success , But a bolt one would have been much easier . I am only into my swap for $200 . Sorry to hear about the S-10 deal going bad . Thought that would have been breaking discovery .

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

I threw down and bought the race front brake kit a week ago from Aerospace Components. They told me it will take 3-4 weeks to get them as they are really busy now. When I get them installed I will possibly have a set of front drum brakes off a '74 Luv for sale if anybody out there is interested. They have been redrilled for 5 bolt.

When I called in and ordered my kit, I gave them the year of Luv. They asked if it was for street or race. The race kits aren't street legal. Hope this helps.

drummondracing i ordered mine through autofab and was happy with the setup and time frame.what kind of setup are you running now, stock if so go ahead and order the flexline kit that goes with the front setup.i took mine out last weekend it felt good just spongy with the stock master set up.. have to pump a couple of times so i need to look at another master setup, i think they recommend a 1 1/8th master cylinder bore.what kind of times are you running in yours.
look in the general section under aerospace complete that is the setup i just bought thanksgiving and it's the drag setup.

CT thanks for the info i will be ordering after the first of the year,I will probably just use a chrysler m/c as they are the same as a wilwood. I am running stock drums on the front re-drilled to 5 lug and stock 9'' drums on the rear it runs 7.30s on motor 6.80s on a 125 spray its basically a stock 350 with a cam but the new motor is going in in a few weeks and I should be around 6.80s on motor. maybe some 40's or high 30's on spray

I used theChrysler m/c that Areospace sells and I am happy with it. It is already proportioned for front and rear brakes so you won't need a valve in-line.

drummondracing good luck with the setup and i know you will like it alot i know i did, your truck is right around what i'm running so it should be prefect fit for you. ya'll say you're running the chrysler m/c is there a particular one(year model) other than the aerospace one?
