Can any of you Luv buffs give me some opinions. We are moving and selling our 79 4x4 Luv and have no idea what to ask for it as a fair price. We have put alot of money into it that we know we will not get back. Things we have done are $1000.00 into upper engine work including new head, new weber carb $330.00, new exaust $175.00, electronic distributer, new calipers, brakes and master cylinder. The bed is in excellent condition, everything works, glass is all perfect, four wheel drive works perfectly and truck runs great at about 22 MPG. Also comes with canopy, CD player, hoppy wired for trailer, and tires with lots of tread. Anyones input will be much appreciated. I have no idea whether to ask $500.00 or $5000.00 LOL. Would like to sell fast. Click link below to view.
Thanks guys

Nice truck. I hate that you have to sell it. The asking price is really up to you as it is yours. The selling price will be what you are willing to accept. The lower the price, the quicker it will sell. So far away...

Were in Wa are you located? I might be interested in buying it if you need to get rid of it quick.
Thanks,
Dan

Depending on rust, interior....I'd think $2500 would be a good start. The mods are bonuses.

Looks like it has a body lift...?

This Luv was also getting 18 MPG until installing the weber carb, then it jumped up to 21-22. The interior is actually pretty darn good with the exception of a wear spot and hole in the drivers side seat, has not been bad enough for me to bother getting a seat cover. I have the original Hitachi carb, was also working perfectly. The smog stuff has been removed but have the pump and so on.

We are located in Onalaska Wa which is near Chehalis, Mossyrock, or Toledo depending on which direction you are coming from. I really never dreamed a few of you guys would be interested in this, figured you all already had your Luvs, just thought you guys could give us a better idea of what to ask for it. We would like to see it get a good home, it is a cool little rig. Would $1800 or $2000.00 be to much or is that to cheap. We have $3400.00 into it but that was for our own piece of mind and know we will not recoup that.

Anyway, thanks guys and if anyone really is interested let me know and I will email you my ph. no. I was just planning on putting it on craigs list this weekend.
