does anyone know where i can find a tailgate? mine works but its busted up pretty bad, any hints would help, thanks

I have an extra used one I'll sell. No holes just surface rust. needs blasted and painted. I think it is dent free but would have to look. it is blue.

I would think they were all the same on the fleet sides. not sure but this came off a 72. If ya want I can ge you some pics to see what shape it is in. Might ask everyone ekse here if they are the same. Would sell it cheap. Just let me know how much you want to give for it. Shipping might be a little high on a tailgate.

Well, they are not all the same but yours will work on his truck. The 72-74 truck tailgates are wider than the 75-80 trucks due to the tailights being under the tailgate vs on the sides of the tailgate.

Will measure mine tonight and see how wide it is. I know the bed had the taillights in the bed and not below it.

I measured the tail gate and it is 52 inches wide. My son said the one it came from had the lights under the gate but I don't think so

I have a nice near new 73 Tailgate in light blue---was removed off a 73 Luv back when it was purchased new from the dealer. I am not going to let it go cheap though...$300 plus shipping. Let me know if you need it though.
