Why a 425 you ask. Weight and size of water jackets. A 425 Cad is 10lbs lighter than a 350 chevy, all the 500 parts will work in the 425, the 425s heads are better flowing and the water jackets are larger and such it will handle idling alot better in hot temps. That and i have a 425 that i got out of a $240 caddy
Oh and as far as my engine and breathing fire goes, the startewr did catch fire a few months ago, so there
