I literally broke my luv in 2 pieces today! I was trying to pull up a shrub out of the ground. Needless to say the very rusted frame buckled and gave way. I think I'm going to cry. No I wont I'm allready looking for a donor body to put 4 years worth of new parts on it!

What year Luv was it? Im wondering if certain year trucks are more prone to frame failures. May be the factory got ahold of bad material for awhile and it's only affecting a set number of trucks in the production order? Or is my brain hemmoraging thinking of crazy stuff like this?

I think it is a requirement in Tn. that a LUV must severely rusted out, because I've never seen a healthy one in TN.! And it was a 80 4X4. I got out bid by 5$ on ebay on a 80 4X4 with a dead motor only 20 mi from my house...grrrrrr

Do they use salt on the roads in Tn. in the winter? Boy I sure am glad they do not use salt out here. That crap tears everthing up. They do use a deicer, which is a salt water mix, that will dull your aluminium wheels, but is not near as corrosive.
