Yes they make an adapter for the Sansa that will hook up to your car stereo..I have one and it works just fine. As far as "a better product" one thing that Apple won't tell you is that all the music you have on your iPod MUST be on your computer, if it isn't there iTunes will deactivate whatever music is there and your screwed. Also once you get your iPod set up you can only use it on one computer...one and only one. That and you have to download iTunes...not much of a problem..but my Sansa runs on Windows Media player..and several other media players as well, which means I can get music off of any computer in the world, and since all computers running Windows XP or Vista have Windows Media Player already loaded onto them there is no need to download any software. And another thought...if your battery ever craps out on your Ipod you'll have to send it in to Apple to have it replaced. On my Sansa all I have to do is go to the store and buy another LG cellphone battery. Another feature that my Sansa has is the ability to expand the memory...I may only have 2 GB of storage space now..but all I have to do is go to my local electronics store and pick up a Micro SD card and I'll have an additional storage capacity of up to 8 GB for a total of 10 GB to get that kind of storage space you'll have to step up to a regular iPod, and they run in excess of $250. Just throwing the info out there, better to know what your getting into then to buy something and then find out that it was a pile of crap
