Tumwater to covington is only about 50 miles..... But I'm 1000 miles away from there. :(

Sounds like I'm the right guy for the job. I live about 10 miles from John and make a trip past Tumwater at least once a month.

I don't have my luv running but can borrow my dad's truck if necessary. How heavy are these engines? Taz, do you think the two of us can lift it into the back of my Yukon w/o back damage?

Once John figures out if he's up for this I'll work a date to make the transfer. Soooo John, the ball's in your court now.

Eric Q.

Oh sweet God in heaven. I stayed off the computer all day, and look what you guys stirred up. RPOZ11, BlackLuv, DBest, Tumwater, Roadshow, Farmer, 79-LUV'r, Luvrv8, Dottie, Sweetluvtruck, mytmouz, Rondog and Eric Q! You're really gonna do it for me? Well, I can't say no. I just don't know all of what I'm gonna have to do to get it done, but I will try to get it done well. I will keep on photographing and narrating all the steps that we take to get it done, and all I can say is I wish you all were close enough to give a great big hug to and thank you for everything in advance. It will never be forgotten by me or my family what you do, and I will always try to be worthy of your kindness.

I will call Nascar44 in the morning to let him know what has been said here. I know he has the vehicle and the means to haul anything from Tumwater to here. If he has the time and the will it could happen very soon. TumwaterTaz should be the recipient of whatever it cost him to acquire this engine for me. Nascar44 should be recompensed for the hauling. I will also be in contact with TumwaterTaz by email to make sure we connect. I have the time and the energy and with all of you behind me I certainly feel the hope. We'll try again.

Eric, you left your post about the time I was writing. I'm really glad you joined in, and buddy it means a lot to me.

Not to sure how stout of guys you two are but if its just a engine with no tranny it should be pretty easy for two guys to lift into the back of a truck.

Hope this all works out for you John.

Cool. Let me know if it doesn't work out with Nascar44.

I have any time any one is ready. I know you're working, so it would have to be when Tumwater is ready and you are too. We''ll see. I'll also see what Nascar44 wants to do.

I'm home most days...since my shop is behind my house over my garage.

So if I'm not on a service call or out shopping with the other half...I'm home.

And lifting it isn't going to be a problem...since I have a cherry picker.

I'm going to be cleaning up my garage for the next few days...and he delivered it yesterday right after I talked to him....so it will be sitting out in the middle of the floor waiting for you.

If there is anything else you need besides the block...there is no need to be shy since my shop is kinda like the local dumping grounds for unwanted Luv parts....just let me know and I'll try to round it up too.

Then when ever you are ready...I'll give you my cell # in a PM and we can do this.

I'd be most obliged if you'd send me the address where I go to pick it up. I will put it in Google earth to find the way to get there. I will make all the plans so you know when to expect my arrival. You know this is an awesome thing you're offering, and I'm going to be sooooo beholden to you. I will be contacting Eric Q or Nascar44 to see if they will go with me asap to meet you. Thanks and thanks.

Eric I'm ready to go as soon as you can go. Just call me the day before, unless it happens to be right now.

Tumwatertaz says between 9AM and 9PM

I've got one, but I figure John or one of those actualy doing the hauling etc, would be better option. Don't mind using mine, would just need to know where to send the funds afterward.

I used PayPal to pay for things, but I don't know how to use it to receive. Maybe TumwaterTaz would like to handle that end.

To recieve, you just post the email address associated with the PP account, then others with PP send. Then, xfer to the bank.
