Wow, I could have been at some of those races.

I used to go to most of the Texas tracks. The old Houston Raceway park, behind don davis chevy, Navasota, Humble, Little River and several others too. I always liked the tracks with Trees....

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

i always liked the tracks with trees too . I made quarter mile passes at Porter , when they weren't shooting each other . I grew up 1 exit away from Houston international raceway. Race cars put me to sleep when I was a kid. Remember watching the jet cars from the roof .

Thats gotta suck, Guess that goes with the old saying your not going fast until your breaking stuff. Cool clip I think I have seen a few of the races posted on the net before but still was cool to watch.

HOW ABOUT ALL THOSE WHEEL STANDING THINGS! The Army had one that looked like a tank. If you got to see the jet cars at night, it was a awsome sight. Seems I remember a couple of Jet Car Grudge races. Maybe not. I think one would roast the other :smt074 . I guess they ran by themselves
