I have a couple of members ask for pic's of the new dash, so here they are. I added a couple of interior shots as well and one shot of the 406 short block. On a side note my heads and ARP studs will be arriving tomorrow so engine will be done on Friday. The truck is very dusty, it has been sitting for a couple of months waiting for it's heart transplant and I guess the sanding of the engine bay has not helped.

Thanks Luvrv8 for each of those. I appreciate you doing that for us, and letting us see your project. You're gonna add an engine soon, huh? Well, congratulations on having an Aussie dash, and good job you did. I hope Ctmandu sees the photos, too. Rat, any more questions?

I LUV the photos!!!

Yes that is the dash replacement from Australia, it was very easy to install with the only hard part being the speaker/defroster grill.

FullaLuv, Ctmandu has looked at the dash install in person and I told him how I got the grill to fit along with the other tricks I learned in the process. The truck had a small block in it before but was tired so with it's heart transplant it should feel like a kid again.

Ctmandu, as long as we own and modify our LUV's we will never have extra money or extra time.

I do enjoy what I have and I am sure Ctmandu does as well. Shit when it ran I tried to get as many members to drive it as I could. Two members said no but Ben took me up on it and Rondog jumped in the passenger side, I can't wait till he drives it with the new motor. Bottom line it is a toy and is ment to enjoy, and it is.

Well I am some envious of all you guys who are light years ahead of me in having all the good toys, but I'm hanging in there, and really enjoy having the opportunity. I'm sure you do well to balance your life, and I hope you and all you So. Cal LUVvers have all the best.
