Thank you thank you thank you. It didn't hurt that bad. It was over before I knew it! It could of happened to anyone. I just hope somebody avoids it next time, and don't go twisting the crank with the spiral gear unless you have gloves on.

I'm gonna mount it on the hood, and give it hypnotic powers, so everybody moves out of the way when I'm coming!!!!

Thank you for coming to see me while I was in the hospital. I will be getting out on the 2nd or 3rd when my piston rings arrive. I don't remember the ride to the hospital too well, since the blood was flowing out of my finger so fast they had to divert the flow and pump it back in! Yes, I think I remember something about a helicopter... That's why the wings on my fickle finger award!!!

I been dopey all day from the morphine drip they put in my arm, and by God, if it's the last thing I do I'm a'gonna bring in the new year right!!! I gotta 12-pack of beer in my nightstand, and the nurse ain't found it yet. I felt guilty as sin reading my eulogy there moments ago layin here in chemically-induced comfort. Reminded myself of Tom Sawyer hidin' under the bed back in Chapter 15 listnin' to his Aunt Polly talk about him likin' he was already dead. I reckon I ain't got cause to be ashamed though, and that's why I got the award. I was wounded in LUV action, and I hold my head high. You guys don't ever forget it. Now if you'll turn to page 100 and sing wid me, "Praise God from Whom all Blessings Flow..."

Nope the rings are cast iron, not molybdenum. I think, but not too clearly. I'll let you know fer sure when I get back from the hospital.
