I just re-tuned my motor and it runs like a clock but it has a hesitation when I start pressing the pedal to the floor.I havent driven this truck for about three months,Is there gum build up in the carb.

Check your timing, vacuum advance and make sure that when you work the throttle lever on the carb a little bit of gas squirts into the carb. If you don't get any gas when you press on the pedal, you need to rebuild the accellerator pump.

sounds like an accel pump or timing advance.

I already checked the points gap and I redid the timing.I fixed the float assembly and rebuild the carb.Ill take a look at that.Thanks
