Looks good. Did you sew them yourself? I though I was the only Suzy homemaker on the list.

did you put in electric windows? I don't see any window crank.

door panels and carpet are on my to do list also. overhead counsel will also be very cool.

Nice, Power Windows? Do They Make Em? There Is A Customs Shop Around Here That Builds Power Window Set Ups For VW Bugs That Say They Could Build One For My Truck But Cost A But Load.

I soon have to figure out what I am going to do with my tan (yuck) door panels. Thinking about just making some alumunum ones with cut outs for a pair of 6.5s.

I have seen the aluminum door panels on the luv but I do not think they look that good. I would try to do what ctmandu did. foam and vinyl or foam and cloth over wood i think will look a lot better. it will also add some sound dampening over a straight aluminum door panel. Just my unsolicited opinion

I really like what you did ctmandu, its a really good look.

With the aluminium door panel issue, I think it would get scuffed too easily and lose its luster quick, plus unless you put some of that dynamat down it would be as noisy as a marble hall in there.

I see your LUV is under a car cover. Is it parked for the winter or what?

It’s to keep the damp air out. Last year it was cold and raining and I only get to drive it once or twice a month because I have the work truck. Only 2500/3000 in last 3 1/5 years. anyway the inside got damp and wanted to mildew, threw in some air dryers cleaned it out in the summer but found if the cover is over it I don’t have that problem also I start it every week and let it worm up and blow hot air inside so far so good

I Really Like The Added Touch The Chrome Gives Your Door Pannels. The SST Looks Nice There Aswell.

ctmandu.. in the initial pics, were those chrome oval things the door pulls? I like the new set better as the chrome adds a nice touch. you manage to find some interesting stuff and make it work.. nice eye

Yes they are the door pulls because I took off the old luv ones they where from a bug shop here in town... but for the new door panel I think I am going to use something like this or make my own arm rest.
