Anybody know where to find a fuel tank cap? All the parts stores keep giving me a two pronged one, but I need one with three prongs.
Thanks

I got a Stant cap through Schucks. The only three pronged they could get is a locking so it was $17.

Make sure you tell the parts guy it is a three prong, as the first one they shipped was a two prong.

Can you give us the Schucks part number for the locking three prong cap. I would like to have one of these.

Thanks--

Paul

I did not keep the invoice or the packaging as I replaced it over a year ago.

You might go here:

http://www.stant.com/part_locator/index.cfm

and find a regular one or a locking cap.

Thanks for the link but they do not show any fuel system caps for the '84 P'up.

Paul

DMZ--

OK, thanks again. They do have a listing for a locking cap although it shows as applicable to both gas and diesel which makes it suspect to me. But, I will take the P/N (ST 10563) to my local AutoZone/ Kragen stores and see if they can shed some light on this.

Regards--

Paul

I found a guy on the isuzupup forum that has the fuel caps in stock, $28 plus shipping, but he's got them.
