How can I convert the factory speedo cable to work with my turbo 350? Can I just change the inside part ? It has the wrong end at the transmission on the drive cable. I need a square end.

I used the stock LUV cable and used a grinder to change the end to the trans as needed.

I used a repair kit from napa autoparts. I just ground off the old end and clamped on the new rapair end. don't shorten the cable at all. The napa p/n is 615-1823 it was only $2.09 plus tax!!!

Yea, I was there a short time ago. I decided to order a Lokar speedo cable for the turbo 350 then got an after-market speedometer (Auto Meter) and custom fit it to the cluster.
