YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I finally got my LUV back on the road, smogged and registered. I'll try and get some pics up in the next day or so. It's just being driven around town for now until I figure out a couple of pesky little problems like running a little hot, small oil leak and weak brakes.

problem number one solved... on a Taco Bell run last night my radiator decided to take a crap on me... split open around the bottom seams... once it cooled off I took a good look at it and if you look through the filler neck it looks new but down inside it's corroded and clogged to hell.. new one going in this weekend hopefully...

mine was running a little hot (just pointing at the "p") and when i'd park it, it would vent through the overflow tube. i changed the old radiator cap and it ran a little cooler and wasn't venting anymore.. then last night it got to the "p" and after a little bit of that it just jumped up to the end of that line and the radiator blew. so a new radiator, thermostat and we'll see what happens...

thanks it's nice to get back to driving it...
