well chet hooked up with a nice set of hoosiers today. theyre mounted on chrome mod rims, plus a pair of chrome wheels for the front of the pup. the slicks are 22.5in tall and 9.5in wide.

theyve been sittin for a while, and one of em had some track junk on it, so when i got em on the truck i almost looped it pullin off my road. ive got almost all the crap off of em now. i took the truck down to one of the industrial streets and tried a nice 4000rpm launch and they still break loose. both of em. i think theyll hook better hot though. im gonna use em atthe track on the 17th and see if i can get my 60ft times down.

ill get some pics of them in the morning. im gonna be taking em off tommorow so i dont tear them up too bad.

they sound like circle track tires.... they dont hook very well on the strip. I soak my slicks in a bath of VHT over night the nigth before i go out street or strip racing.

yeah they are circle track slicks, but theyll help me enough for my 18 second truck. just trying everything i can with what ive got :D. i wanna try and see if i can get a pass under 18.5, and with my street tires im just burnin out 1st gear. they also help out alot since therye shorter than my other tires.

Looks like it slopes petty good from right to left. Is that from the track or is it just the angle of the pic?

yeah its a little sloped. i did have that tire at 25lbs too though. when i have them at 15lbs on the truck they have a nice little footprint.
