Ok well I got the choke adjusted I took it in to a sop he got it but it still dose not run right it dumps to much gas a in it he said rebuild it or put a new one on it so dose anyone have a good ideal where I can get one

Now I havent not checked on the Weber yet to see what I wil have to do to get it to pass smog.

But When I had mine rebuilt it was doing the same thing. I took it back and the guy found a small o ring that had fallen out of place. I'm not sure where the o ring is from or where it belongs in the carb, but that is what he told me. It happened to me on my 78 carb also at a different carb shop, but I just ended up buying a new rebuilt carb for the truck. But I bet it was the same o ring. It sounds like it might be a tricky o ring and it happens to many of them.

If you do have your carb looked at, you might mention this so maybe he will find it and fix it.

well I drove it to my Ranch today up there it ran high idel at 1,800 then I took it off road and the temp in it rose up so I turnd the idel down to 1,200 rpm and its ben runing ever since so the last test is leting it sit for a couple hours and then starting it back up so wish me luck Guys
