My son is 22. and the bed cover was hand made out off stainless steel and some aluminum supports. well since he hasn’t got on here to tell you about the truck , we have been working on it the last 2 nights since paint till about 3 am, he needs to head back tonight to el Paso. we should be done by 4 am. anyway the truck is a 78 one owner 78k miles we had an old step side bed on it from last year but it fell apart it was to far gone to save though we tried. so now it has the newer bed made for the Luvs, 12 inch base speakers and some 6x9's , alarm, auto start, Porsche seats, console from a neon, front air dam from a mustang II, tail lights from a 73 imperial, wing from a BMW cut down to fit W/3rd brake light, duel exhaust out the back, 74 bumper and valance, Weber carb, window sun visor for the out side and some other stuff I cant think off right now

That truck turned out great!! It's good to see it all came together.
It's makin' me rethink my plans for my 77. 8O
I think I may need to build more of a street truck rather than my 4x4, atleast right now. :?

the spoiler I was told was for a mustang II is really for a 76/77 Toyota Celica come to find out, it was stamped in the side of it, didn’t notice it before, anyway for the people that wanted to know and it should give you an idea so if you like this one you could also see what others are out there for them and more then likely the 70/77 will fit very easily

and here is my sons and mine , its the 2nd air dam on the right

did that fairing fit pretty close on the valance or did it require some massaging?

didn’t do a thing to it just put it on it fits perfect with the old 72/75 valance but I am sure would fit the 76/80 just fin also, if some one wanted we did test fit it on pinkskys truck slid behind the bumper... it fits in the bumper great like it was made for it

if you look you can see a gap but the bumper hides it or you could make a filler for it.72/75 luv

and here it is on pinksky's attatched to the bumper 76/80 luv
