my fuel pump wont pump gas to the carb while the truck is running. it will work fine when the key is in the acc. position just before i kick it over. but once the truck is running the fuel stops pumping to the carb. the engine runs till the gas in the carb runs out and then it will start pumping fuel again once the truck dies.
im not really sure whats going on.

any tips or advice would be great.

It could be that the fuel pump relay is failing.

If the truck is not charging, the fuel pump will not run. Be sure you have output from your alt.

Your fuel pump should not be working on the acc side of your ign. switch have you been doing any wiring? :?:
