Well my dad bought this car new. gave it to his mother. restored it foe my brother in 80'. it went from blue to white. He took it to Detroit, with no clue about road salt. He moved to Dallas Texas. I bought it before from him before he traded it in for a new Honda car. Drove it home and gave it back to my dad for his birthday, who let it set and the road salt get to it. 10 years ago he told me to get it out of his driveway. I sold the car for $500 with the origanal title. Things in my life have changed and I have the opportunity to buy this car back. It is a rust buckect and would only be good as a drag car. Do I buy it back for $500 disassenbled or let it go? This car is marina blue with blue interior, and I feel likre it is part of the family. I would like to make a drag car and leave it to my brothers son, since I have no off spring. Any opinions would be great. This car is rough, but I can put it back together.

I say buy it back. If you are anything like me, you will regret it if you don't.

even if it's only gonna be a drag car, it's more about the memories and the fun of it then the dollar value... most folks have way more into thier car or truck than they will ever be able to justify or get out of it... i'd say get that car and build it up and enjoy the hell out of it

big block, baby!! 468 inches of biglock will move 4000+ lbs into the 12s with good traction.

Put a 468 in that car, and I will race race you with a small block in my Luv Truck. Motor on motor, or we can spray em.
